The Peel Volunteer Resource Centre has now opened nominations for the Alcoa Peel Volunteer of the Year Awards for 2022!
Now in their 15th year, these awards promote the value and important contributions made to the social, cultural, economic and environmental well-being to the Peel community. They pay tribute to all those who, by their accomplishments, encourage and promote the spirit of volunteerism.
To be eligible for these awards, the volunteering effort must be of benefit to the Peel region.
The contribution volunteers make to other people’s lives is immeasurable. They enhance lives in so many ways by their generous work in so many areas – sporting clubs, community groups and emergency services. And all without payment! Some may give a few hours work while others work almost full time, but they all have one thing in common – they CARE.
And whatever their contribution, they want to acknowledge it and say Thank You.
Nominations can be made in the following categories –
- Peel Volunteer (Supported by the City of Mandurah)
- Peel Youth Volunteer (Supported by the Shire of Murray)
- Peel Community Group (Supported by the Shire of Waroona)
