On the 23rd of March, there’ll be craft day retreat hosted by the Country Women’s Association in Rockingham

DAY RETREAT COSTS:
$20p/p for CWA Rockingham Members
$25p/p for CWA of WA Members
$30p/p for Non Members
Registrations & payments must be finalised before Friday 15th March 5pm.
Funds raised will be spent on room hire, event consumables, branch projects and charity needs.
10% of all profits go to CWA of WA Administration Fund.

BYO LIST:
Craft supplies/projects
Sewing machines
Iron
Ironing board
Extension cords
Power boards/double adaptors
Lunch (or pop out to a cafe - we always recommend Jaffelato or Kent St Deli)
Crockery & cutlery. NO SINGLE USE PLASTICS please. We will provide napkins and tea/coffee mugs.

MEALS:
Bring a plate of food to share for morning/afternoon tea.
BYO lunch (there is an oven & microwave) or pop out to a cafe within 2 minutes walking distance. (We always recommend Jaffelato or Kent Street Deli)
Tea (inc herbal), coffee, hot chocolate & milk provided.
Join us for a meal at 8pm at The Clipper Inn, 20-30 Patterson Rd, Rockingham. Walking distance from retreat venue. Please book a free ticket when you are registering. Pay as you order on the night.

DETAILS:
There is a commercial kitchen available for use at no extra charge. Please book a free ticket for kitchen use. (This is for bulk cooking only. All attendees have access to the kitchen for re-heating meals).
There will be 2 optional workshops you can book in for if you wish. Workshop fees are additional to Day Retreat fees. Please scroll down for details.
Bring some cash for raffles and our bring & buy table.
If you would like to work on our branch quilt bring $5 and get a basic lesson on English Paper Piecing from one of our many talented members.
Attendees are welcome to come and go as they please between 8am-8pm. We are a 5 minute walk from the beach so bring your bathers if you fancy a swim.
Please be advised that pack up will begin at 7pm and the building must be vacated by 8pm.
There is Loading Bay access available between 8am-9am. Please refer to map.
Lots of local free parking available. Please refer to map.
When booking please choose, 1 table, 2 tables or "I will find a seat at a shared table". You can book up to 2 tables per person if you require a large workspace. Tables will either be rectangle or circle. We will allocate these at our discretion.

WORKSHOPS:
Why not put your own projects to the side and learn something new. We have 2 workshops which will be facilitated by 2 of our CWA Rockingham members who are private business owners. All proceeds of workshops go directly to their business.
9am-11am: Patchwork & quilter, designer, teacher and maker, Cheryl Ambler of The Country Quilt Store will guide you through the creating of a Quilted Linen Container.
1pm-3pm: Lindsay Vidler of @made.for.makers will be walking you through the making of a Zippered Pouch.
Basic sewing machine skills required. BYO machine and zipper foot if you have one. All other materials supplied.
Both workshops cost $30 each and have limited places so please book ASAP.
