On Thursday 28th October, an exciting new Daughters & Dads program with a focus on cricket is coming to Halls Head!

Daughters & Dads Cricket was first delivered in Sydney and Newcastle in 2020, to 33 daughters and their fathers. In early 2021, a further 51 families participated in Sydney and Newcastle based programs. And now it's WA's turn!

The Daughters & Dads program focuses on empowering girls and their Dads through cricket, and works to break down gender bias and stereotypes around young women in sport.
In the 2020/21 Australian Cricket Census, it was reported that only 14% of junior cricket participants were girls.

The program runs for 8 weeks from 28th October - 16th December, with a 1.5hr session each week that utilizes both practical and theory to educate the Daughters and Dads!
The first session is Dads only.
Mandurah: Thursday 28th October, 4-5:30pm @ Halls Head Community Centre

Registrations can be made at the link below! Be sure to register before the first week commences, and participants will need to complete the full 8 weeks.

The Daughters and Dads Cricket program is a ground breaking program, a combination of cricket skills and well-being education for primary school girls 7-12years and their dads or father figure. This program is suitable for girls with no or limited cricket skills.
