Every Monday and Thursday at 10am, Football West are hosting Walking Football ‘Walkshops’! Walking Football is an exciting new format of football where the concept is simple – it’s normal football but you must walk!
This not only increases inclusion and participation levels, but helps those seeking a social and active lifestyle, retaining players considering hanging up their boots and adding to health and well-being of the community!
The walkshops are very accessible and suitable for those of all abilities!
It’s all about having a kick, staying active and meeting new people.
Aimed at over 50's for well being and mobility.
These are small-sided soccer games and there will be skill coaching to give people a few tips.
People in this age demographic who stay active and have a strong social lifestyle enjoy improved mental and physical well being. Women welcome.
Bring a drink bottle, wear sporty shoes and comfortable clothing for outdoors play and come and have some fun!
