The Mandurah City Choral Society is having their winter concert 'Songs of Jubilation' on Saturday, August 28th!
The concert has an uplifting program and will include music from the Queen’s coronation, an homage to her as she celebrates 70 years of reign, some traditional favourites, and some more modern pieces.
The Mandurah City Choral Society will be performing under the directorship of Nicolas Freeland and welcome back Christopher Ryland as their accompanist.
This concert will also include a special performance of the Prayer for Ukraine. This moving piece composed by John Rutter has been made available for choirs to duplicate and use freely, something which usually costs choirs substantially.
Thanks to this generosity, the Mandurah City Choral Society will be performing the Prayer for Ukraine and raising money for the Ukraine Crisis Appeal.
