To celebrate Children’s Book Week 2021, the City of Mandurah invite you to create a poster that best reflects this year’s Book Week theme, "Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds".
Posters will be on display during Book Week at Falcon Library & Community Centre!
This competition is run in conjunction with Read Write Now. Winning entries will be chosen by a panel and a prize of a $50 book voucher will be awarded for each category.
What you need to know:
• Posters should be no larger than A3 size
• Posters can be in any Medium, suitable for hanging
• Three age group categories:
4 – 8 years old
9 - 12 years old
13 – 15 years old
Judging Criteria will include:
• Picture and text fit with the theme which 'Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds'
• Composition on the page
• Colour scheme meets the design element
• Overall composition
On the back of the Poster, please include:
• Full name
• Class and School
• Age
• Contact Phone Number
Competition runs from 1 June – 31 July 2021
Competition open to residents of the City of Mandurah
