Every day 33 West Australians hear the words "you have cancer" - that's 33 too many.

Relay for Life has been an annual event for Mandurah / Peel for the past 15 years but due to COVID, the 24 hour event can't go ahead, so they've decided to Paint the Town Purple instead with a 33km walk around the Mandurah Foreshore in honour of the 33 West Australians who hear the words "you have cancer" every day.

Relay for Life Peel/Mandurah invite you to get your friends, family and colleagues together and walk 33kms in support of Relay for Life 2020!

It will be a chance for the Mandurah community to recognise and celebrate local cancer survivors, patients and their carers, to honour and remember loved ones lost to cancer and to raise money to help save more lives.

Join the thousands of Australians who take part in Cancer Council’s Relay For Life each year in the fight against cancer: start or join a team in the Peel Mandurah 2020 or sign up as an individual to Team Daffodil today and raise vital funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention, information and support services!

Join them at the completion of the 33kms for the Candlelight ceremony where we pause, reflect and commemorate those we have lost.
