On Saturday 1st May, Mandurah men are to be given a unique opportunity to perform in the dance project The Beauty Index, hosted by Mandurah Performing Arts Centre!
Put together by award-winning choreographer and dance artist Annette Carmichael, The Beauty Index is all about encouraging men from rural and regional communities to try their hand at something different. Absolutely no prior dance training or experience is required!
No matter the skill level, Annette will make you look amazing!
The project is choreographed to emphasise the strengths of the participating men, with each show shining a light on some hidden gems.
There are still a few places left in the cast so local men are encouraged to take the plunge and register for the week of evening rehearsal sessions running Monday 19th – Friday 23rd April.
The final performance will take place on Saturday 1st May.
You must register your interest before 16th April.
You will be supported by a team of professional artists and designers.
The project breaks down stereotypes, contributes to the community, and is open to any man who is willing to step forward!
