From Tuesday 18th January and Fortnightly thereafter, Lakelands Library and Community Centre and Connecting Community for Kids are hosting Village Morning Tea, an event for parents/carers of children with a disability or people who have a disability themselves, to create connections and to access peer support.
The first Village Morning Tea will take place on Tuesday 18th January, and will occur fortnightly after this date.
The mornings are very informal, with craft activities and information sessions (if wanted), morning tea and conversations!
Accessibility: ACROD parking is available out the front of the main entrance to the Lakelands Shopping Centre. There is a wheelchair accessible toilet at the library and at the shopping Centre. Children are welcome and there will be a supervised children’s activity area.
