All the highlights and winners from the 91st Academy Awards

And it's a wrap.

The Oscars are done for another year, and the academy went all out in LA on Sunday night at the Dolby Theatre, opening the show with an epic set from Queen - fronted by Adam Lambert.

The legendary band totally rocked the house, and their biopic Bohemian Rhapsody won the most awards, scooping up four including Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, Film Editing and Best Lead Actor for Rami Malik’s outstanding portrayal of Freddie Mercury.

Olivia Colman was just as surprised as everyone else when she beat out favourite Glenn Close for Best Lead Actress for her role IN The Favourite. An emotional Colman made an adorable, bumbling speech - much like something out of a Hugh Grant movie - apologising to Close for winning and basically thanking everyone in the room.

Again we say, adorable!

Best Supporting Actor went to Merhershala Ali for Green Book and Best Supporting actress was awarded to Regina King for If Beale Street Could Talk.

Green Book also took out Best Screenplay and the night’s biggest award for Best Picture, beating the favourite, Roma, which won Best Foreign Language Film, Best Cinematography and Best Director (Alfonso Cuarón).

Spike Lee joined fellow writers Charlie Wachtel, David Rabinowitz and Kevin Willmott to claim their honourary Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for BLACKkKlansman, but he had to mount Samuel L. Jackson first!

For the Marvel-verse, Black Panther took home three awards: Costume Design, Production Design and Original Score. "Wakanda Forever!"

There were some amazing performances on the night from Bette Midler who performed a song from Mary Poppins Returns, while Jennifer Hudson belted out a political tune from the Oscar-nominated movie Vice.

But it was Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper who gave the performance of the night with their emotionally charged hit single Shallow from A Star is Born.

The stars received TWO standing ovations.

Gaga (and gang) finally got her first Oscar for Best Original Song (Shallow), and gave an inspiring speech, encouraging fans to work hard and reach for their dreams.

All in all, the night went well and the use of special guest presenters rounded out the fact that they didn’t have a host.

But our favourite highlight from the evening would have to be from Mike Myers and Dana Carvey, who paid homage to their cult characters Wayne & Garth (from Wayne's World), to hilariously introduce Bohemian Rhapsody in the Best Picture category.

We're not worthy!!

Until next year, Oscars.
