Local production Kinky Boots is bursting with heart, humour and heels.

If you are a massive lover of the theatre, then Kinky Boots is definitely one show you don't want to miss.

Stray Cats Theatre Company's director, Karen Francis will once again deliver a stellar show to the Peel Region, which the cast and crew working tirelessly over the past several months to bring the show to life.

The basic premise of this heartwarming story is centred around a shoe factory which is going to close because no one wants to buy their shoes.

The owner Charlie Price - who has recently inherited the factory from his late father - has a chance meeting with an outspoken Drag Queen, Lola, when he suddenly realises there is a huge lack in the market. Together, they start designing and manufacturing ‘Kinky Boots’ - shoes for women, who are men. 

As they work to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible… and discover that, when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world.

Winner of six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Kinky Boots features a joyous, Tony-award winning score by Cyndi Lauper and a hilarious, uplifting book by four-time Tony winner, Harvey Fierstein.

Starring the extremely talented Braeden Geuer, who brings heart and depth to Charlie Price, and leading-lady Lola, played by Jioji Nawanawa, with a voice like pure honey... the pair will bring the audience to tears of laughter and emotion on an unfolding story of unexpected friendships.

Plus, a large, vibrant ensemble who will leave audiences on a positive high.
