Rami Malek, Bradley Cooper, Nicole Kidman and Lady Gaga are all nominated for a Golden Globe

There are so many good movies in the mix this awards season!

The Golden Globe hosts have been announced for the upcoming awards, with comedian Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh to take the stage.

And of course, the nominations are out.

A film that surprised critics and movie buffs with the most nominations, was the Dick Cheney bio-pic VICE, starring Christian Bale, which grabbed six noms including Best Picture, Best Actor (Bale) and Best Director.

Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s epic drama, A Star is Born was tipped to sweep up in the nominations, it did well, but wasn't the front-runner, with five nominations including Best Movie, Best Actor (Bradley Cooper) and Best Actress (Lady Gaga).

And The Favourite and Green Book also received five nods apiece.

Willem Dafoe (“At Eternity’s Gate”), Lucas Hedges (“Boy Erased”), Rami Malek (“Bohemian Rhapsody”) and John David Washington (“BlacKkKlansman”) are also up for Best Actor in a lead role with Bradley Cooper (A Star is Born).

And Glenn Close (“The Wife”), Nicole Kidman (“Destroyer”), Melissa McCarthy (“Can You Ever Forgive Me?”) and Rosamund Pike (“A Private War”) are up against Lady Gaga (A Star is Born) for Best Actress in a lead role.

The 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards will broadcast from the Bevely Hills Hotel January 6.
