The Australian women's cricket team, the Southern Stars have won the world T20 tournament defeating England by eight-wickets.
Chasing 106 for victory Ashleigh Gardner belted three big sixes in her way to 33 not out as the Aussies chased the runs down in the 16th over.
Skipper Meg Lanning remained 28 not out as the Southern Stars maintained their world number one T20 ranking.
Earlier in the day nerves got the better of the team with several misfields and drop catches but it was two wickets in two balls from Georgia Wareham that sparked an England collapse.
Gardner claimed the crucial wicket of England opener Dani Wyatt and went on to claim two more lower order wickets finishing with figures of 3/22.
Wicketkeeper Alyssa Healy was named the player of the tournament after collecting four player of the match awards throughout the event.
