No changes for second Test

Australia have named an unchanged line-up for the second Test match against Sri Lanka in Canberra.

It's the first time the nations capital will host a five-day game with days 1-3 already close to be a sellout.

Australia resisted temptation of bringing in Victorian young gun Will Pucovski and all-rounder Marcus Stoinis who was called into the squad after the win in the first match in Brisbane.

Skipper Tim Paine confirmed the news on Thursday afternoon.

"Coming off a good win we are happy with our combination." Paine said.

"This pitch is probably slightly different, we just think that we'll be able to get more overs out of Marnus (Labuschagne) on a pitch like this."

Play gets underway at 7:30AM WST on Friday morning.

AUS TEAM: Harris, Burns, Khawaja, Labuschagne, Head, Patterson, Paine, Cummins, Starc, Lyon and Richardson.
