Cameron Bancroft has been named in the Perth Scorchers squad for Sunday's clash with the Hobart Hurricanes.
Bancroft's nine-month suspension ended on Saturday and the Scorchers had no hesitation in picking the right handed batsman.
Scorchers coach Adam Voges said Bancroft was ready to go.
“I can’t guarantee he will play but he will be in the squad and is likely to come in. He has been working hard, is ready to play and we are looking forward to seeing him in action.” Voges said.
Wicketkeeper Josh Inglis will miss the next month after rupturing two ligaments in his foot.
“Josh said he felt it pop as he pushed off for a run against Rashid Khan,” Voges said.
“It is like turf toe. He had done a good job on it and will be in a moon boot for a while.”
