The Dockers are on the board in season 2021 too good for the GWS Giants by 31-points.
The victory itself won't be the biggest talking point out of the 11.21.87 to 7.14.56 triumph the concussion to skipper Nat Fyfe to be the biggest headline.
Fyfe was floored by a big hit from Giant Sam Reid in the aftermath of a marking contest late in the third term.
He was assisted off the ground by trainers before heading into the rooms at three-quarter time, with Connor Blakely activated as the medical sub.
The AFL’s new concussion protocols require a mandatory 12-day lay-off for players who demonstrate concussion symptoms, leaving the Dockers star under a cloud for next Sunday’s fixture.
Fremantle coach Justin Longmuir said Fyfe was in good spirits post-game.
“We subbed him out of the game. What that means for the next couple of weeks I’m not sure.
“We tread carefully with all concussions. He'll need to tick every box medically like all of our players do.”
Lachie Schultz was the best in front of goal for the Dockers booting three majors while Andrew Brayshaw kicked two goals and collected 32 possessions.
Fremantle are back on the road next week facing Carlton on Easter Sunday.
