The Dockers have confirmed they will not train at Optus Stadium for the near future after Rory Lobb was ruled out for the upcoming weeks with a stress fracture in his foot.
Lobb joins Alex Pearce and Matt Tabener on the sidelines for the remainder of the season.
Eagles coach Adam Simpson raised concerns on the hardness of the Optus Stadium turf when Tom Barrass was ruled out for month to two months with a stress fracture.
“Given the recent lower-leg and foot injuries to key talls, an assessment of training and medical assessment protocols will be conducted to ensure we are operating at best practice,” Dockers football manager Peter Bell said.
Stephen Hill and Sean Darcy are expected to be available for selection for Fremantle this weekend after overcoming injury.
