Eagles fly high over Crows

The Eagles have come from 33-points down to defeat the Crows by 12-points at the Adelaide Oval.

The visitors booted five goals to one in the final term and 10-goals to three from the point of being 33-points down to record a 13.7.85 to 10.13.73 victory.

Jamie Cripps, Jack Darling and Josh Kennedy all booted three goals each.

Eagles coach Adam Simpson said he had challenged his players to "get their hands dirty."

"The numbers probably don't suggest it when you look at contested ball, but our intent and effort has been there for the most part. Simpson said.

"It wasn't there for the second quarter, but our numbers from a tackling point of view, it's not a massive stat for us, but we had a go in that area."

The Eagles move to fourth of the AFL ladder but could slip to sixth if other results don't go there way.
