Eagles secure come from behind win

West Coast have recorded a 34-point victory over Geelong in their first pre-season encounter.

The Eagles kicked six goals in the last quarter to power away after leading by just five-points at three-quarter-time.

Jack Darling booted five goals, Matthew Allen three and Liam Ryan kicked two.

Luke Shuey collected 17-disposals in the first-half before being iced in the second while Andrew Gaff who is suspended for the first two regular season matches had 27-possessions.

Eagles coach Adam Simpson pleased with the team's first competitive match.

It's great to get a game under our belt and move on from the grand final. There were some good signs tonight. We took some steps in the right direction." Simpson said.

West Coast head down to Mandurah next Sunday to take on the Dockers.
