Flames defeat Magic in CoastFM Cup

The Rockingham Flames have defeated the Mandurah Magic 66-48 to claim the time-honoured CoastFM Cup.

Rockingham retain the trophy after winning both men's games, the women's matches were spilt 1-1 across the two meetings between the clubs.

Former Wildcat Greg Hire top scored with 16-points on Saturday night while Chudier Pal and Caleb White contributed with 10-points each. 

Travis Durnin was the best for the Magic claiming 16-points and Jerami Grace was handy scoring 13-points.

The Flames victory moves them to fourth on the men's standings Geraldton, Lakeside and the Joondalup Wolves who are the ladder leaders.

Earlier in the night the Magic scored a 81-65 triumph in the night's women's clash. 

Casey Mihovilovich led all scorers with 20-points for the winning side. 

Mandurah are outright fourth on the women's standings.
