Flames lose thriller in Geraldton

It will be a long way home from Geraldton for the Rockingham Flames narrowly missing out on victory 85-82.

The Buccs led by six-points going into the final quarter and the Flames had majority of the play in the last outscoring their opposition 24-21 but ran out of time to land the knockout blow.

Travis Durnin was the best on the scoreboard for the Flames with 18-points while Callum Beard contributed landing 17-points and former Wildcat Greg Hire 14-points.

The Flames are sixth on the NBL1 West ladder with a inconsistent win, loss, win, loss past four matches.
