Dockers skipper Nat Fyfe has blitzed the field to win his second Brownlow medal in Melbourne last night.
Fyfe polled 33-votes ahead of second Patrick Dangerfield on 27-votes and Brisbane's Lachie Neale and Carlton's Patrick Cripps on 26-votes.
Cripps set the pace early but Fyfe polled more consistently across the season to secure the victory.
"I think this has been my best year so far," Fyfe said.
"I don't compare (the two seasons), it's impossible to. We won the first nine or 10 games in 2015 and I was a ball-hunting midfielder. Now I'm the captain of the club, a club that won eight games last year and nine games this year."
