Perth Glory and Sydney FC have spilt the points after an 1-1 draw in Perth.
Glory opened the scoring in the 43rd minute totally against the run of play.
Diego Castro pulled off a sharp run into the box before centring to Fornaroli, who tapped it into the back of the net.
The goal was initially ruled offside, but VAR overturned the decision on review.
It meant Fornaroli has scored in nine straight games at HBF Park - a record run for an A-League player at any venue.
Sydney found the scoreboard on the other side of half time through Bobo in the 63rd minute capitalising on their domination of play.
Liam Reddy worked in overdrive in the last stanza blocking several shots from Sydney's attack.
After the game Reddy told Fox Sports "On the grand scheme of things it was a fair result."
