Peel Lightning face two must win clashes to stay in touch with the top four in the WA Netball League.
The Lightning are six-points outside the top four and have a double header against the Rangers and bottom of the ladder Southside Demons this weekend.
Coach Naomi Pannell said they had spent a lot of the week focusing on the Rangers attacking half.
"Rangers have a strong shooting end but our defensive end is strong if not stronger so hopefully we can bring home a win."
"They are good at their connection between the centre court into their shooters. We've worked on that at training and how we can shut them down."
Pannell has also identified areas of concern were the Lightning have been falling down.
"We've been focusing on the long court transition that's a weakness that's been exposed over the last couple of weeks, if we get that right we should go alright."
