Mariners defend total to score victory

Rockingham-Mandurah have noted up their first two-day competition win of the season defeating Joondalup by 122-runs.

The Mariners posted 345 on the opening day largely thanks to 176 from Craig Simmons batting at number nine.

Joondalup never got into the chase bowled out for 223 in 77 overs.

Aaron Burrage claimed three wickets while Simmons, Adam France and Tyler Robertson claimed two tickets each.

The Mariners are back on the road facing South Perth at Richardson Park starting next Saturday.
