Opener set for Test debut

Australia have named a 14-man squad for the first two Test matches against India beginning in Adelaide on November 6.

Former WA Warrior Marcus Harris is set to become the next Test debutant expected to open the batting with fellow Victorian Aaron Finch. 

Usman Khawaja has recovered from a knee injury and should bat at number three providing he gets through next week's Sheffield Shield game for Queensland beginning on Tuesday. 

Mitch Marsh and Shaun Marsh are the West Australians in the squad and are both expected to be in the starting XI.

Fast bowlers Peter Siddle and Chris Tremain have been included but are not expected to play. 

SQUAD: Aaron Finch, Marcus Harris, Usman Khawaja, Shaun Marsh, Peter Handscomb, Travis Head, Mitch Marsh, Tim Paine, Pat Cummins, Nath Lyon, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Peter Siddle and Chris Tremain.
