The Perth Scorchers batting will come under fire ahead of their next game against the Melbourne Stars after another poor showing against the Brisbane Heat.
Perth put just 135 on the board last night at Perth Stadium Ashton Turner top scoring with 47 from 30 balls.
The Scorchers stated brightly with Cameron Bancroft (24) and Michael Klinger putting on 56 in the opening partnership before Bancroft fell in the 9th over.
Klinger (26) and skipper Mitch Marsh (11) went a short time later in a middle innings stumble that also saw the downfall of Hilton Cartwright (2).
Turner smacked some long balls late in the innings but wasn't enough to get the Scorchers up over 150.
Nathan Coulter-Nile bowled a tidy spell of 3/25 and Jason Behrendorff and Jhye Richardson claimed a wicket each but wasn't enough to put the Heat under pressure who scored the runs in the 19th over.
Ben Cutting smashing an unbeaten 26 from 16 balls to finish the chase.
Perth with just one win on the board now fly to Melbourne to take on the Stars on Wednesday.
