The Perth Wildcats have wiped a 16-point third-quarter deficit to defeat the New Zealand Breakers 91-86.
To make the win one to saviour it was without inspirational skipper Damian Martin and arguably the league's best import Bryce Cotton who was ruled out hours before the game.
Perth outscored the Breakers 32-18 in the final term in a defensive masterclass.
Nick Kay scored 18-points leading the Wildcats scoring while Terrico White contributed with 21-points.
Kay also had 12 rebounds and Mitch Norton had six assists.
Perth now gave a 10-win, one-loss game record to start the season going into the international game break next weekend.
