On This Day... the two halves of Sydney Harbour Bridge were joined together in 1930, Four Corners began on ABC TV in 1961, Groucho Marx passed away aged 86 in 1977, and Picasso's painting Weeping Woman was recovered at a locker at Spencer Street railway station in Melbourne in 1986, after being stolen two weeks earlier.
