On This Day... Foghorn Leghorn made his debut in 1946, in 1954 Hurricane Carol became the first storm to be given a name, Dynamo (washing powder) was registered in 1961, in 1997 Diana Princess of Wales was tragically killed in a car accident in Paris aged 36, along with her partner Dodi Fayed, Virgin Blue's inaugural flight happened in 2000, and Edvard Munch's painting The Scream was recovered in a raid in 2004 after being stolen two years prior.
