Germany invaded Poland beginning WWII in 1939, Grundy television commenced with the TV quiz show Wheel of Fortune in 1959, John Farnham (then 18) signed a recording contract with EMI in 1967, Celsius Temp was introduced in Australia replacing Fahrenheit in 1972, in 1976 cigarettes were advertised for the final time on Aussie TV, INXS debuted in 1979, the Titanic was found by French Divers in 1985 (since it sank in 1912), a new 5 dollar note entered circulation in 2015, and Etihad Stadium officially became Marvel Stadium in 2018.
