World War I was triggered off following the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914, World War I officially ended exactly five years after it began, in 1919, Ford Australia was founded in Victoria in 1925, Australia's first Falcon rolled off the assembly line in 1960, Pick-A-Box ended on Aussie TV in 1971, the Today show began on Channel 9 in Sydney in 1982, Wham played their farewell concert in 1986, and Scotty Moore, US guitarist, and engineer, died aged 84.
