The Federal Government has announced $25 million dollars in funding for the Peel Health Campus.
The announcement comes as Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt is in WA.
He will visit Peel Health Campus today with Canning MP Andrew Hastie.
Mr Hastie has long called for much-needed investment into facilities at the hospital.
The Federal Government has said the funding will go towards improving the emergency department, providing a new mental health facility and establishing a dedicated residential facility for people suffering with eating disorders.
Once Mr Hunt and Mr Hastie have toured the Campus, a community barbecue will be held at Eastlake Church from 12:30.
