Kylie - Golden Tour 2019
  • Date:
  • Time: 3:30pm - 8:00pm
  • Location: Sir James Mitchell Park

Iconic Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue will bring her 'Golden Tour' down under, performing a slew of headline shows at arenas and outdoor venues across the country next March. The tour will also see her play three a day on the green shows—her first ever outdoor concerts in the country. 'The Golden Tour' marks Kylie’s first shows since 2015’s 'Kiss Me Once Tour'. Known for putting on a one-of-a-kind and captivating live show, each performance on the 'Golden Tour' is a narrative weaving all Kylie’s hits into one glorious story. With an incredible three decades in the music industry and fourteen studio albums to her name, Kylie has dominated the music charts with five number one albums in both Australia and the UK, sixteen ARIA Awards and an induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2011. Kylie's latest release, the Nashville-recorded and country-influenced album 'Golden', (out now via Liberator Music/BMG), debuted at number one on the ARIA and UK Charts. The result of an intensive working trip to the home of country music, Kylie worked alongside key writers Steve McEwan and Amy Wadge, with producer Sky Adams. The result was an outstanding personal album that blends Kylie's signature pop style with a Tennessee influence; this exciting change of style is sure to enchant audiences. Tracks from 'Golden', like 'Dancing' and 'Stop Me From Falling', fit seamlessly in the tour setlist alongside Kylie's endless pop classics like 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head', 'Spinning Around', 'The Loco-Motion' and 'Love At First Sight'. Joining Kylie across all Australian shows will be close friend Jake Shears. As the lead singer and a primary songwriter for the multi-platinum selling glam rock band Scissor Sisters, Jake shot to fame off the back of hit singles such as 'Take Your Mama', 'I Don't Feel Like Dancin'' and 'Comfortably Numb'. He made his Broadway debut earlier this year, playing the lead role in Kinky Boots. He also released his debut book and memoir 'Boys Keep Swinging' and dropped his self-titled debut album in August, featuring the single 'Creep City'. Meanwhile, kicking things off at A Day On the Green will be Brisbane’s Hatchie. It’s been a huge past year for the talented singer-songwriter, with her debut EP 'Sugar & Spice' winning praises across the globe. The five-track collection, which has garnered 7.5 million streams and counting, includes singles 'Try', 'Sure', 'Sugar & Spice', 'Sleep' (Pitchfork's "Best New Track") and 'Bad Guy'. The Golden Tour is the first opportunity for Australian fans to see Kylie's new music performed live in addition to a number of classic hit singles. Grab your tickets to avoid disappointment!

Following a limited run of regional shows in January, Canadian rock icon Bryan Adams will return to Australia next March for his 'Shine A Light Tour'! He will be performing shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Wollongong plus two A Day On The Green concerts happening in Hunter Valley and Perth. He will be supported at all shows by special guest Mahalia Barnes. Meanwhile, Busby Marou and Pierce Brothers will join the Hunter Valley show while Mark Seymour & the Undertow will hop along for the Perth ride. As an icon in the industry, Adams is well known for his signature brand of feel-good rock’n’roll hits, having achieved a string of number ones in over forty countries and having sold over sixty-five million records across the globe. He just recently released 'Ultimate', a celebration of a number of his classic rock ballads that have spanned the length of his four decade long career, including hit singles 'Summer of '69', '(Everything I Do) I Do It For You', 'Heaven' and his Rod Stewart and Sting collaboration 'All for Love'. The album also featured two brand new songs 'Ultimate Love' and 'Please Stay', Adams' first new music in more than two years. Over the course of the last forty years, Adams has collected an impressive number of accolades including a Grammy, three Academy Awards and five Golden Globe nominations. He was also awarded the Order of Canada and the Order of British Columbia for his contributions to popular music and philanthropic work through his foundation, The Bryan Adams Foundation. As a long time Australian touring favourite, Adams is no stranger to being on the road. Currently winding up a European tour, he will also perform for audiences in Canada, the UK before heading to New Zealand and Australia next March. Currently working on his forthcoming album, fans can look forward to new music from the legendary rock singer sometime in 2019. More information to come. Appearing at all shows will be Australian singer-songwriter, Mahalia Barnes. As the daughter of one of Australia’s most successful vocalists, Jimmy Barnes, Mahalia has inherited a powerful, soulful voice that will delight audiences as she takes to the stage. Mahalia released 'Hard Expectations' earlier this year with her band The Soulmates, recorded at Freight Train Studios in Botany and mixed at Apple Street Studios in Berrima by Benjamin Rodgers. She also performed on several tracks across Jimmy Barnes' 'Working Class Boy' (The Soundtracks) released this past August.
