Today is World Oceans Day – a chance to celebrate the incredible oceans that cover more than 70% of our planet. They produce around half the oxygen we breathe, absorb huge amounts of carbon dioxide and help regulate our climate. Pretty amazing!

This year's theme is all about protecting our oceans for future generations, with a global push to safeguard more of our marine environments and the incredible wildlife that calls them home.

Living here in WA, we're pretty lucky. From the dolphins in Mandurah to whale migrations along our coast and the colourful reefs up north, we get to enjoy some of the world's most spectacular marine life.

So how can we all help? It's actually pretty simple... ditch single-use plastics where you can, pick up rubbish next time you're at the beach, and choose sustainably sourced seafood when possible.

Get in touch with our Estuary Guardians in Mandurah if you'd love to help protect our oceans and waterways.

Every little action helps keep our oceans healthy... because a healthy ocean means a healthier planet for all of us. 🌊🐬
