Some sad news for the music industry...
Iconic American music industry executive, producer, and five-time Grammy Award winner, Clive Davis has passed away at 94.
Nicknamed the "Man with the Golden Ears", Davis built a reputation for finding superstar talent before anyone else, shaping the careers of countless artists across generations including Janis Joplin, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Aretha Franklin, Santana, Patti Smith, and Alicia Keys, but most notably – he discovered Whitney Houston.
He was the president of Columbia Records in the 60s and 70s, founded his own label Arista Records in 1974, and was also Chief Creative Officer at Sony Entertainment!! He was induced into the rock and roll hall of fame for his contribution to the music industry.
Jeremy Clarkson has shared some good news - he's in remission from prostate cancer and saying he feels like the "luckiest man alive".
And is now raising awareness for men to do their health checks saying, doctors discovered an aggressive form of the disease during routine testing, but because it was caught early, treatment was successful and he's now cancer-free.
The 66-year-old has described the diagnosis as a wake-up call and is encouraging other men to get checked, saying early detection made all the difference.
