There is another version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in the works...

Now, Gene Wilder was the OG and really... you can’t top that performance.

Close second was Timothee Chalamet portraying a younger Wonka, who also did a fabulous job!!

And then Johnny Depp’s Wonka was... controversial.

So who is slipping on the purple coat?? Well, in this case, lending his voice as this version is animated!

None other than New Zealand director, writer and actor... Taika Waititi.

Rumours are this adaptation will be darker than previous ones, with Kit Connor cast as Charlie Bucket.

This new Charlie vs the Chocolate Factory is a Netflix exclusive set for release next year.

Olivia Rodrigo has announced a brand-new all-female music festival called Daisy Chain Fields, inspired by the iconic Lilith Fair festivals of the 1990s.

Taking place in California this August, the one-day event features a huge line-up including Chappell Roan, Garbage, Doechii and special guests Stevie Nicks and Sarah McLachlan.

Even better, 100 per cent of the festival's net proceeds will be donated to charities supporting women and girls.

Tickets have gone on sale this week, with fans already calling it one of the most exciting festival line-ups of the year.

Kylie Minogue is heading back to the big screen.

Fresh from the success of her recent Netflix documentary, the Aussie pop superstar has signed on to star in the upcoming film Tangled Up in Blue, directed by Jamie Adams and named after the classic Bob Dylan song.

And she's in good company - the cast includes Jason Isaacs, Sofia Boutella and, surprisingly, Quentin Tarantino, who's stepping in front of the camera rather than behind it.

Kylie began her career as an actress before becoming a global music icon, so this marks a return to her acting roots for the Padam Padam singer.

And we have the official trailer for the highly anticipated Practical Magic 2.

Yes, our witchy sisters – aka Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock are back alongside Diane Wiest and Stockard Channing with Joey King and Maisie Williams joining the cast.

It's the season of the witch.

Practical Magic 2 swoops into cinemas September 10.
