Sad news from the music world today... Victor Willis, the founding lead singer and co-writer for The Village People has passed away at the age of 74 following a short but aggressive illness, just a day shy of his 75th birthday.
Willis helped define the disco era and was behind classics like., Macho Man, Go West, In the Navy, and Y.M.C.A and remained active with the Village People right up until this year.
Tributes are pouring in from fans across the globe.
