'I just want to wish you well...'
It’s been 20 years since Bernard Fanning released his iconic solo debut album Tea & Sympathy… and to celebrate, he’s taking it on the road with his full band, hitting Perth’s King’s Park and Botanic Gardens on March 1, 2026.
Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster.
Message from Bernard...
G'day everyone,
Today officially marks the 20 year anniversary of Tea & Sympathy, which means the anniversary editions on Vinyl and CD are out now in your beloved local record stores, and available online. I’m excited for you to hear all the outtakes, b-sides, rare tracks and new glorious covers.
It’s such a privilege to have made a record that people connected with on such a deep, personal level. Playing these songs live has always been a communal experience, with the audience sharing in both the intimacy and the full-throated sing-along glory of the songs.
The ridiculously fast sell out of the show at QPAC tonight in Brisbane showed me you wanted to be part of that communal experience. So, with that in mind, and as promised - we've got some good news to share....
We’re taking the Tea & Sympathy 20 year celebration on the road in February and March 2026, with my full band in tow we’ll be playing all the songs from the album and more. Joining me will be very special guests Sam Cromack (Ball Park Music) and Georgia Mooney (All Our Exes Live in Texas). Plus Bob Evans also joins the line up at Kings Park in Perth.
All shows are all ages, so you can bring the family. Please just check venue websites for more info on that.
Artist pre-sale kicks off at 10.00am (local times) on Monday, 3 November - 9:00am (local times) on Wednesday, 5 November (or until allocation is exhausted) so make sure you’re signed up to my emails.
