Harold waves goodbye to Ramsay Street.
Ian Smith – the 86-year-old Australian actor who plays the loveable Harold Bishop on Neighbours - is leaving the soapie and saying his final farewell for an unfortunate reason.
He revealed why in an exclusive interview with 10's Angela Bishop.
The beloved actor has been an integral part of the Australian TV show for over 30 years and will now step away from his iconic character, and farewell Ramsay Street forever.
Smith said goodbye to his castmates last week, with his final scene set to air in April 2025 on Ten.
Wishing Ian all the best with his health journey, we will miss Harold’s antics dearly.
