The nine-year-old was walking to school around 8.45am on Friday when police say she was picked up in an unknown vehicle.
"A number of police resources were immediately deployed to the area to locate the child," a WA Police spokesperson said.
"The child was located outside a supermarket in Port Kennedy area a short time later."
