Three candidates have nominated for the City of Rockingham's vacant Rockingham/Safety Bay Ward position.
Jason Davies, James Mumme and Elaine Smith will battle it out for the spot following the resignation of Dr Craig Buchanan earlier this year.
Postal voting packages for the extraordinary election will be sent out from August 25.
Eligible electors who do not receive a voting package by Monday September 7, 2026 are encouraged to contact the City of Rockingham.
Voting closes at 6pm on Thursday September 24, 2026.
Completed voting packages should be returned promptly to ensure they are received before the close of voting.
It is not compulsory to vote in a local government election but it is encouraged.
