A 29-year-old man has been charged after allegedly raping a young girl south of Perth.
It will be alleged the man gained entry into the child's house and sexually assaulted her on Saturday morning.
A family member of the girl found the man inside the house and held him until police arrived.
The 29-year-old man, who is believed to have been temporarily living at a neighbouring house, has been charged with two counts of aggravated sexual penetration of a child under 13, attempted sexual penetration of a child under 13, three counts of aggravated indecent dealing of a child under 13 and threatening to kill.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
