A large great white shark has been spotted swimming close to shore off Madora Bay.
The Surf Life Saving helicopter sighted the four-metre shark around 10.05am on Friday.
It was circling about 50-metres off Madora Bay beach.
Beachgoers are being advised to be extra cautious when entering the water.
