Garden lovers, families and visitors are invited to soak up the beauty of spring at the Pinjarra Garden Day.

Taking place on Sunday, October 18 from 9.00am to 3.00pm, Pinjarra Garden Day will see the grounds of Edenvale Heritage Precinct come alive with vibrant blooms, local plant stalls, gardening demonstrations, workshops, artisan markets and more.

A highlight of the day will be a program of presentations featuring guest speakers and local organisations.

Visitors will hear from experts Trevor Cochrane, Faye Arcaro, Shani Graham, Landcare SJ and Kaarakin, who will share their knowledge, experience and passion for gardening, sustainability, nature and creating thriving environments.

Hosted in the heart of Pinjarra, the event offers something for everyone, from seasoned green thumbs looking to discover something new, to budding gardeners seeking inspiration and families wanting to enjoy a relaxed day surrounded by nature.

There will also be plenty to keep younger visitors entertained, with garden-themed activities designed especially for kids.

Shire of Murray President Douglas McLarty said Pinjarra Garden Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the region’s love of nature while bringing the community together.

“Pinjarra Garden Day is a beautiful spring event that showcases the incredible gardens, creativity and community spirit we have here in the Shire of Murray,” President McLarty said.

“Whether you’re an experienced gardener, just starting out or simply looking for a lovely day out with the family, there will be plenty to see, do and enjoy. We look forward to welcoming locals and visitors to Pinjarra for a day of gardening, sustainability and community.
