The 2024 Mandurah Crab Fest is just around the corner.

Mayor Rhys Williams said families and thrill seekers will be spoilt for choice during Crab Fest weekend on March 16 and 17 with a program designed to delight all ages and interests.

“We’re gearing up for an action-packed Crab Fest weekend, with a massive program of events, entertainment and activities free for the whole family,” Mayor Williams said.

“The Mandurah Action Sports Games is back at Crab Fest this year, with some of Australia’s best action sports athletes competing for cash and prizes over three days. We're also excited to welcome the WA Police Force Careers Expo to Mandurah this year where you can find out about joining the Force and enjoy live action demonstrations.

“Plus, there’s all the Crab Fest family favourites including a great line-up of local and national acts on the Seaside Estate Music Stage, cooking demonstrations on the Spudshed Cooking Stage, a fantastic fireworks display on Saturday night, the Spudshed Yellow Brick Road, and the Alcoa Family Zone with heaps of activities including a dedicated children’s stage."

The Mandurah Action Sports Games will be held from Friday evening, March 15 to Sunday March 17 with sports competitions including roller skating, pro wakeboarding, BMX, basketball, motocross, scooters, skateboarding and electric racing.

The Action Sports Games will be held on the Mandurah estuary and the Western Foreshore.

The Alcoa Family Zone in Mandjar Square will be the perfect spot for families and children with plenty of free and low cost activities, including the Children’s Stage with live performances all weekend.

Other kids entertainment includes amusements, an interactive SciTech display, roving entertainers, a nature playground and the return of the popular Spudshed Yellow Brick Road experience.

The WA Police Force Careers Expo will be held from 10am to 5pm during Crab Fest weekend on the Eastern Foreshore and Keith Holmes Reserve.

The Expo will feature live action demonstrations from the bomb squad, a chance to hop aboard a Water Police vessel and an opportunity to check out the latest tech the WA Police Force are using to fight crime.

The Police Recruiting team will also be there to answer questions about a career in the WA Police Force.

The 2024 Crab Fest footprint will stretch from the City Centre and along Mandurah’s Eastern and Western Foreshores, Mandjar Square and over to the Mandurah Ocean Marina.
