Nominations are officially open for the 2027 Community Citizen of the Year Awards.
The annual awards celebrate the achievements of everyday people who show leadership, contribute to community wellbeing, and inspire others through their actions.
There are four award categories open for nomination:
Community Citizen of the Year – for individuals aged over 16
Young Community Citizen of the Year – for individuals aged 16 to 30
Senior Community Citizen of the Year – for individuals aged 65 and over
Active Citizenship Award – for community groups or events
Nominations close Saturday, October 31.
The winners will be announced on Australia Day 2027 in Mandurah.
