A unit in Orelia has gone up in flames.
Firefighters were called to the housing complex on Dent Court around 7.15pm on Thursday to find the single-storey unit fully involved.
Crews managed to extinguish the blaze by 7.40pm but the unit was sadly destroyed.
No one was injured.
A damaged lithium-ion battery has been deemed as the cause of the fire.
DFES advise those with unwanted or damaged lithium-ion batteries to dispose of them via a Household Hazardous Waste Program facility.
