A school of hammerhead sharks have been sighted off Point Peron Beach in Rockingham.
The Surf Life Saving helicopter spotted the 2.5 metre sharks just after 9.20am on Thursday.
They were sighted 300 metres offshore.
Beachgoers are advised to be extra cautious when in the water.
