A 2.5 metre shark has been spotted off Point Peron.
The Surf Life Saving helicopter sighted the shark around 10.24am on Tuesday about 300 metres offshore.
The unknown species of shark is tracking south.
City of Rockingham Rangers have closed Point Peron beach between Beach Emergency Network signs RO77, RO88 and RO99.
